We are very proud to be a part of a few really rad events going down on our home turf of Denver for SIA this upcoming week.
Things kick off Thursday night with the Lloyd Banks and Z-Trip Concert at City Hall and the Nomis Ladies fashion show at 24k/Oak Tavern.

Friday the 28th we will be sponsoring The After Party with FREE DRINKS from Red Bull, Avery Brewing, and PBR. This will be the only place serving boose for free and open after 2a.m.

Saturday the 29th is another all FREE event. Free entry, free drinks and a free show from The Beatnuts.

SixEleven's Scott See, Joe Mango, Mike Peterson, and Steven Waters made a long drive out to Tahoe from Denver last week to spend a few days riding in some warm California weather and show STOP...Hammertime! at Fifty Fifty Brewing Company. It was an interesting few days filled with great friends, great fun, and a premier that went off. The winner of the highest bar tab for the evening walked away with a brand new DH from Ride.

This past week we stopped through Durango as part of our North American Tour for STOP...Hammertime! We had a good turnout at The Abbey Theater and Local snowboard shops The boarding Haus and Inferno helped to ensure that everybody who came would walk out of the theater with some free product. This past Thursday, October 7th SixEleven kicked off their U.S. and Canadian tour of their newest video STOP...Hammertime! SixEleven has partnered with Pirate Movie Production's video Hooked and it could not be a better fit. With their already successful European presence and an expanding following in the United States Pirates isn't going anywhere soon. The theater filled up to the brim as SixEleven prepared to rain down product on each and every one of them.

For those who have not met Truitt, he is the brother of Kristi Armijo, a great friend to many in Denver. As someone who grew up enjoying the outdoors of Colorado, Truitt was diagnosed with brain cancer on December 24th, 2008, and as many patients, has not only endured the immense physical pain of treatment, but has been burdened with the great financial expense to battle his ailment while supporting his loved ones.

A big congrats goes out to team rider Erik VanAssche for his second place finish in this last weekends Backyard Bang RailJam put on by Salomon Snowboards and The Art Institute of Denver right downtown. So we decided to do a little last minute premier over in Steamboat Springs and are we glad we did. Thanks to Trent and Mel at Urbane, Melissa at The Tap House, and the whole Steamboat crew this thing went off without a hitch. We played This Is Serious as well as Stepchild's "This Video Sucks" and Think Thank's "Cool Story" Thank you to all of our sponsors who contributed tons of gear for raffles and giveaways. Unfortunately the Energizers in our camera died halfway through the first giveaway so there aren't any photos of Erik's arm wrestling contest, the girl doing twenty pushups, the guy doing pullups on the rafters, or of the two ladies singing us the Little Mermaid theme song for some of those free prizes. We did however get some good photos of the beginning of the night and a few of our pre-premier stop at Keystone.

This last thursday we held the premier for our new video "This Is Serious" Every year our premier seems to grow and grow and this was no exception. With Great sponsors like Ride Snowboards, Smith Optics, Adio Footwear, and of course SixEleven it seemed like nobody who showed up left empty handed.

The night started off with the premier of Ride's "Along For The Ride" then went straight into a raffle and product toss free for all! The sound guy even told us he got nailed in the face with a SixEleven T-shirt! (whoops)

The crowd went nuts as "This Is Serious" came on and provided a fresh new look on having FUN with snowboarding. The night continued with another raffle and product toss than with Pirate Movie's "Jolly Roger" and ended with us giving away a limited edition DH2.1 from Ride Snowboards and a women's Compact from Ride as well.

SixEleven rider Steven Waters took quite a fall on his bike last night. After being knocked out cold, an ambulance ride, and two CT Scans he was told he had a severe broken nose, a bad concussion, and severe lasserations on his face. It's not a pretty sight, but atleast there was nothing major wrong. Wear your helmets kids!

Sooo a couple of weeks ago...

we (Ricky Bates, Mikey P, a couple other awesome doods and myself) took out the sleds and had a few day sesh up in the park at the local ski resort and made some booters out of the booters since the actual booters were blocked by mounds of snow. We had to Macgyver our way around in the daytime because a couple park crew doods and a cat driver were still creepin' and they didn't like what we were doin', as you can see from the pics below and the nice message they left us. Also behind this massive mound of snow, that the cat driver pushed, which extended a good 70 ft up and down the hill, in the trees, were our generators, lights, shovels and all that. So we were glad they were nice enough to put that there making it so easy for us to get all of our shit out the following day. But in the end it paid off and we had a couple of good night time sesh's we lit up that i'll hopefully post some pics of soon.

This is our cutout that the cat driver demolished. Little do they know we had a real fun sesh on it the night before. Ha!
